Returning to the Constitution

I am interested in leading the State of Texas. And in leading the United States of America in a return to the strong Christian roots our nation was based on. Our state and our nation on strong state's rights derived from a constitution that made provision for growth and development as a people and as a nation.

"Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other." John Adams

Our state and our nation were founded on Christian principles. It is time to return to the framework that our founding fathers put into place. WE ARE A CHRISTIAN NATION. We need not apologize for our Christian heritage. The idea of the separation of church and state is one that is not based on the constitution, but based on writings by the forefathers discussing the pitfalls of establishing a particular religious denomination or Christian practice as a "National Religion."

The founding fathers simply believed that persons should worship God as the Spirit led them and according to their conscience.

"Of all the disposition and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports." George Washington

I am looking for people passionate about Texas to help with my campaign.

I am running for Governor of Texas, not as a politician, but as a citizen of the United States of America, and a native resident of the Great State of Texas. Too many career politicians make promises to get elected and then once they are in office they start listening more to lobbyists than the voters that put them in office.

I want to run for national office after I am done in Texas. I want to be The President of the United States of America. So that I can continue to do for the nation what I am looking forward to doing in Texas.

People who are passionate about Texas and the issues that affect our state are encouraged to contact me. You can look me up on my Facebook Fan Site.

An Exciting New Decade

I am looking forward to a brand new decade. This new year starts an exciting new time in our Country. In Texas many things are happening that will change the face of our state and national government for years to come. President Obama promised change for our nation. And change is coming.

Many people were tired of business as usual. The rich getting richer while the poor and needy were overlooked. It is important to help people get their feet on the ground when they are in dire straights. It is hard to talk politics with someone who is hungry and homeless. Everyone should be given respect and treated with dignity. People should earn their keep. And pay their way. And when you work hard to become wealthy, there is nothing wrong with enjoying the fruits of your labor.

People should always remember where they come from. Even families who have been wealthy for many generations must remember, it was not always this way. I am in the first generation in my immediate family to have a college degree. My older brother showed me that if you apply yourself to your studies, you can learn and achieve the credentials that so many companies require during these days of competitive hiring and a global marketplace. I am the son of a man who grew up sharecropping in Van Zandt County, Texas. And my mother grew up the daughter of an onion farmer in Hunt County, Texas. And I grew up helping my uncle on his cattle ranches. And was the horse wrangler on several ranches as well. Coming from humble, honest, and hard-working, Native Texas roots gives me a rich history and an appreciation for the hard-working people of our great state.

Texas and Texans have been an important part of the federal government and political landscape long before Texas became a state. For this reason I believe that it is important that I run for Governor of Texas and have my eye on the national leadership and desire to rise to the position of President of the United States of America.

I started out just a while back on the streets, homeless... I was blessed to have friends and family support me and encourage me... I stood in line for the "waiting list" for Section 8 housing. After waiting for the longest time almost 4 years, my name came up to the top of the list.

I got an apartment... Started working on my issues and challenges with doctors and therapists! And before you know it... it is time for me to throw my hat into the ring and run for Governor of the Fair State of Texas!

I just rang in the New Year with friends and family, and have gotten a lot of favorable statements and promises to vote for me... for the sheer reason if no other, that I have to be better than what we have now!
